early predictions.....

cotto vs. mosely: i'm really torn on this one.... i'm a fan of both these guys but anyone who knows captain cool knows that he is a sucker for an underdog and i expect that cotto will be the underdog in this fight based on his lack of experience.... this fight will be fought at madison square garden in front of a very puerto rican very pro cotto crowd.... and this can work both ways... sometimes it adds pressure to a fighter to fight in front of their home crowd.... and while cotto is from puerto rico, msg is basically his home arena and having just disposed of zab judah there a few months ago i think he is ready to handle the pressure.... i'm also not too happy with how sugar shane has been dressing lately... his outfits have been "suspect" for lack of a better word.... that being said.... my predicition is cotto by a narrow decision. captain cool will be at this fight if any of his fans wanna come out and meet him.

hatton vs. maywether: again i'm really torn... but for an entirely different reason.... i can't stand either of these guys. hatton is hugely overrated in my opinion and this fight is being fought at 147 lbs. in his only fight at 147, hatton looked horrible and recieved a gift decision against louis collazo. maywether is a super talent.... i really in my heart of hearts expect this to be an easy night for him but again captain cool is gonna go with the underdog just cause i'd love to see floyd get knocked out.... if hatton can apply constant pressure and throw the ridiculous amount of punches which is his style... i think it is a possibility that he could smother and frusturate floyd for 12 rounds and eek out a close and most likely debated split decision. again fans... that captain is gonna try and be at this one in vegas with his wifey his old man and his brother and maybe his close friend big oogie.... i may set up a meet and greet at our suite.
